Trauma Centre - Hope for the hopeless!

The first 6 patients are scheduled to arrive at the New Trauma Centre at Greenspark, Fochville, South Africa, on Monday, 10 November 2008!  “We thank God for this much needed facility which will provide trauma care to those who have no where else to go!” says Ge Els, Local Missions Initiator  and founder of Ergon Ministries. 

 

The Trauma Centre has not been equipped with beds, mattresses, bedding or even basis amenities such as telephones, yet the needs is so urgent that the first six patients will be admitted on Monday.  Children such as Thembisa, the 4 year old rape victim, will now have a facility in Greenspark to turn to in emergency situations.

Other needs of Ergon Ministries include the following:

· Finances to have two tents, used in the preaching of the Gospel to those in the less developed areas, repaired

· Building material — 4000 bricks and sand

· A generator to show the Jesus film in the under developed areas

· A van (R40 000) for the transport of equipment and evangelists.
